a complete ban on all initial offers of coins (ICO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the court\u2019s decision, a People\u2019s Bank of China official told the Chinese daily Global Times:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;Indeed, Bitcoin is a virtual property, but it is not paper money.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision of the court and the explanation of the NBK make it clear that the possession of a cryptocurrency in China is
