[Instructions] Setting up AwesomeMiner for MiningPoolHub / Zpool / NiceHash

Who is it for?

For those who are looking for profitability, and are constantly trying to switch from one currency to another at the call of Wattumain. As a rule, such a switch without specially created conditions threatens not with profit, but with its loss, especially if the yield pump occurs in an hour or two and quickly falls off. Offensive names for this behavior are “hamsters” and “mother miners”, we will use the scientific name – profit miners
Especially for profit mining, there are multi-pools that mine many different pumped coins and give out a reward in the chosen one or in bitcoins. The most famous of the multi-pools is nicehash, while in fact it is not a pool at all, but a capacity rental service, but it has convenient software and fairly convenient statistics on the site.

Alternatively, in profit mining, you can use real multi-pools, where you mine and exchange your coins in automatic or manual mode (you do not exchange anything on Nice, you just get paid for rent) at the current rate, winning on the current momentary profitability.

At least two multipools are interesting in this regard – miningpoolhub and zpool.

I am far from thinking that profitable mining is doing much better than classic – when coins are accumulated and sold on a pump, earning decent money, but profit mining is often preferable for momentary profit.

Remember the main thing! Profit mining works only with a quick exchange of the hired into a stable currency (bitcoin, fiat). Without it, you just mine a bunch of shitcoins!

Part 1 – miningpoolhub.

We follow the usual path of the mother’s miner – we are interested in income “here and now” with conversion to bitcoin and payments as soon as possible.
To do this, register on the pool https://miningpoolhub.com
First of all, we go to the auto exchange tab, where we set ourselves an auto-conversion – Bitcoin.
The second step is to go to hub workers, and create a worker for ourselves. Name, password.
You don’t have to exhibit his work for now.

Now the question arises – how exactly to start mining? The pulhub itself says on the main page, a free retelling:

Method 1 – the selected coin. Just configure the batch file to the required pool from the MPH list via port 20XXX.
In general, we are not interested, we are profit miners.

Method 2 – mining forks of the selected algorithm with the highest profitability through port 17XXX.
This is much more interesting. The bottom line is that the profitability of forks for ether, zikesh and some others is constantly floating due to price, complexity, demand, and so on. Launch the claymore for mining ether through the port indicated on the ether pool for multi-mining (17xxx), and the pool itself will slip the most profitable fork on this port. It can work simply as a batch file, the pool itself controls the profitability of coins. You can turn on the dual, on the clay. The same thing works with zikesh miners. You do not need to restart the miner, nothing is needed, do not forget to register -allcoins -allpools in the claymore, and set the desired work in the worker settings on the pool (for example, by mining the ether forks – we set Ethash). All coins minted at a favorable rate will be converted into cue balls, but we indicated the auto-conversion at the very beginning.

Method 3 – mining the most profitable algorithm at the moment, using management from the site or third-party software.
The fun part, but a lot to customize. As in the second case, you can use one miner that mines many algorithms – ccminer, how to configure it for this feature is described on the pulhub. I see no point in describing it here, and ccminer itself does not show good results in all algorithms, so my choice is third-party software. In the second part, we will look at awesomeminer.

In conclusion, in advance answers to some questions-
what is the pool commission? – 0.9%
But pay attention in the settings there is also a donate option, it also removes malya, configure it in your favor.
The minimum withdrawal is 0.002 btc, with a commission of 0.0003 btc.
Where to withdraw money / how to withdraw money automatically – through a wallet on the Bitcoin pool on the pulhub. There you will register your wallet, set up automatic withdrawal, if necessary.
What job to set for workers – a job for workers should be set only if your workers are controlled by a pulhub as in method 2. If you manage them yourself, nothing is needed.

Part 2 – awesomeminer

Multi-miner with profit management – http://www.awesomeminer.com/

  1. Download and install avesome.
  2. After the first launch, he offers to immediately create an employee (miner). We agree and create.
  3. Miner type – Managed profit miner.
  4. Next – give it a name, the rest can be scored for now, we complete the creation.

And so, we see the awesomeminer window with one created miner, and we are stupid, not knowing what to do next. I will tell.
To begin with, by this point, you would already need to imagine what coins / algorithms we will be mining on the mining pool. We don’t need everything at all, we need those that bring consistently good income, and those that sometimes shoot. You can watch this case on the main page of the mining pool. Stable algorithms – Eth, Eqh, shooting – scrypt, NeoScrypt, SHA-3 (keccak), Lyra2RE2, this is according to my observations. You customize how you see it, and what maps / farms are available.

And first of all we go to Options, to the Managed Software section. In this section, we determine which miner will mine which algorithms. If you are lazy, you can leave it that way, but as a result, the avesome can run the zicash not on the zek miner, but on the ccminer, which threatens to lose the hash rate.

The next tab to configure will be Algorithms. There we simply cut off all the algorithms we do not need that do not need to be tracked and mined. There are a lot of those there, study – sha256 is generally for asiks, there is simply no skunkhash on the mining pool, and so on. Turn off all unnecessary, do not be greedy.

And then we reach the Profit Switching tab. We enable – enable profit switching, we set the interval for checking the profitability – also do not be too greedy, it seems to me an hour (60 minutes) is the minimum.

Supplement: Remember! that the pool reward system is PPLNS. It’s pointless to mine for five minutes! Leave check intervals for at least an hour, otherwise you simply won’t earn anything.

As for switching the yield based on the percentage difference, this is a moment of more fine tuning, for a start it is not needed.
Immediately turn on the MiningPoolHub checkbox, and enter the name of your worker and the region.

The fun is now!

We go to the Profit Profiles tab.
As I advise you to do with it – take the profit profile already loaded there, select it, click Clone, and then work with the copy. Which profile to take depends on what cards you have. Reds or good ones.

Click Edit for your profit clone. Give him a recognizable name right away.
Check the boxes for the required miners that we will use, and remove the unnecessary ones. You won’t be able to mine all at once!
Now each miner is separate.

Select Claymore Dual Blah Blah, press Configure
Indicate the path to your pre-downloaded miner. I highly recommend downloading right away.
You register the launch parameters. As in a regular body shirt.
Moreover, remember the previous post and mining all forks? In the launch parameters, I personally write everything completely as in a batch file – both the server address and port 17020

-epool europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17020 -ewal имя.воркера -eworker имя.воркера -esm 2 -epsw x -allpools 1 -allcoins 1

Amendment. In fact, you do not need to register the address and port, worker and wallet. The program itself takes everything from the settings. The required ports can be registered in the Online Services tab for the required algorithms. So we register the worker in the miner settings. In the batch file, you need to specify only -allpools 1 -allcoins 1 and other launch parameters you need.
But you can not prescribe the same thing in the launch parameters, but create equipment profiles in advance, where you can prescribe the necessary options.

You can register dual mining, I have not tried it. Theoretically, nothing complicated, on the mining pool everything is described how to dual mine on it.
In addition, the program is able to combine algorithms that are beneficial for dual, if several pools are involved. For example, mine ether on the miningpoolub, and the second coin on the zpool.

Exit the glue settings, take the next miner.

Tip – don’t try to set everything up at once. Set up one or two miners, don’t be greedy, just turn off the rest for now. Get yourself into the topic – tweak the rest yourself.

Miners set up – look in your Profit Profile section Customize.
This is the critical part! Here is the hash rate of each algorithm that you allowed to mine – you need to specify it very close to the real one from your farm!
Otherwise, the profitability data will shamelessly lie.
You can allow one algorithm at a time and run for a test, for example. Or approximately set for each algo.
Or set default, and when that algorithm starts and you see the real hash rate, go in and correct it with a real one for this.
You can pass the benchmark, which is present in the tools tab on the main program panel. Note! One video card passes the benchmark, and you need to register the result of all cards on the rig (worker) in your Profit Profile at once. That is, if the cards are the same, we go through the benchmark and write the result multiplied by the number of cards.
Also, when mining is started, it is possible to poke the worker with the right mouse button and select the Save Hashrate item. This action saves the current hashrate in your profile using this algorithm.

Before starting! Go to the Properties of your miner on the awesome main tab. We register the name of the worker from the pulhub there and set the profit profile that we created. Miner autostart – decide for yourself.

Well, that’s it, the moment of truth. Go to the last Online Services tab, see what is most profitable at the moment on MiningPoolHub. By the way, the display of other services can be disabled in the options – Online Services. I left for information.
At the bottom of the Online Services page, select the profit profile! which was done before. Otherwise, it will show horrible things.
Launch your miner.
Same as what’s top at the moment? If not, look what you didn’t. Either the miner was not allowed, or they lied with the hash rate.
If yes – watch the farm for a while, switch algorithms, and successful mining!

I’ll add a couple more tips later.
P.S. In a completely similar way, you can configure the miner for zpool, instead of the worker’s name, it uses the bitcoin address. But the payout system is different, and some settings are different.
Likewise, a nice hash, you can set the avesomeminer on a nice, it will work instead of a standard nice miner.
If there is enough capacity to quickly snatch profit, you can generally configure it for all three multipools. Avesomeminer will switch between them and algorithms based on the highest yield. I remembered malya on the nice, then the nice left the top, switched to the pool, then back – but this, IMHO, who has very decent power.

Why did I write miningpoolhub / zpool / nicehash and only describe the setup on miningpoolhub? and how to tune in to other pools?

I was interested in exactly profitable mining on multipools with conversion to bitcoin, and it is almost already pre-installed in awesomeminer, which I told about. The materiel for all three multipools is the same, the differences are in small details, according to this instruction, any one can be configured.
For other pools, coins, situations – the avesomeminer, of course, can do a lot more, adding your own pools, managing ASICs and so on – I have not done this and am not going to, do not ask me questions on these topics – it is pointless.

If I have a prefabricated hodgepodge of cards, I want like on a nice – different cards for different algorithms – like me, in the same farm 2×1066 samsung, 2×1063 hunix. It will not be quite like it when each card can run its own miner, but at least two groups can be made (in the free version). The procedure is the same as in the instructions, but – two workers are created on the miningpoolhub, two workers in the avesomeminer program, and two profitability profiles! For each worker in the program, you associate your pulhub worker, as well as your own separate profitability profile. In my profile with huniks, the claymore miner and ethash as an algorithm are generally disabled, i.e. he does not even consider ether and forks for profitability.

Key moment! now in each (of the two) profitability profiles we go into each enabled miner (Configure) and prescribe specific video cards in the launch parameters! Run only gpu 0 and gpu 1 = in claymore

-di 01
for EWBF =
–cuda_devices 0 1
for ccminer =
-d 0,1

I can make a mistake in the syntax, I write it as a keepsake, look at the redme to the miner! For one profitability profile, I put on the launch of the card with samsung, for the second with hunix – everything works flawlessly. Two miners are constantly running, sometimes they are mining the same thing, sometimes they are different algo, the main thing is to indicate the hash rate in the profile normally.

Correction – the same, without prescribing, can be configured in the equipment profiles.

Part 3. Building a strategy, mining individual coins, mining Electroneum.

While working with awesomeminer, I realized that multipools with exchange for bitcoin (or other currencies) are not always the best pools with the most advanced profitability, however, they have great tools that you can use, especially in conjunction with such powerful software as awesome …
Therefore, to start anew or for the first time, I will voice several principles on which you can build successful work with multipools and this software.

– greed will destroy everything.
Don’t be greedy! Do not try to include the maximum of algorithms, do not try to include the minimum switching time of profitability. It’s useless.
– remember about PPLNS. In any case, you will get the maximum profit if you mine for the same long time. You won’t have time to mine anything in five minutes.
– it is better to mine more of one coin for exchange than ten little by little.
– this is not a nice hash and not an alternative to it. Everything here works with an approach and strategy, yes, you have to work, and the result will often not be long in coming.

– build your strategy.

– roughly determine the best algorithms for a short-term period, such as a week or a month, turn them on and turn off the rest with a ruthlessly firm hand. Two or three algorithms that will work stably for several hours per call are much better than a jumble of Shitcoins every half hour. You must consciously choose algorithms based on current trends if you want to make money.
– regulate auto-exchange. At the MPH there is such an opportunity. It is not always, even, not always profitable to change everything for BTC. You have tons of opportunities to regulate currency flows. You can put auto-exchange on another (promising) currency, and you can disable some units from auto-exchange if they seem to you to be profitable enough by themselves.
– based on the previous point – some currencies can be mined separately if it is part of your strategy.
– do not try to deceive the system and get anything, exchanging for ether, or a convict. Most often, it is more profitable to simply extract ether / or prisoners directly. You must understand this. Change to BTC, because this currency cannot be mined, but it grows every day. Or LTC, because it cannot be mined on a GPU, and you want to mine everything in one stable and profitable currency. You must understand why you are mining and exchanging it into this currency, be clearly aware. And why don’t you change some part.

Some currencies, on MPH or zpool, can also be mined directly if this is part of your strategy. There are various reasons to customize this part in software, for example-
– although electroneum appeared on MPH, it cannot be exchanged for anything – it is not on the exchanges that this pool supports.
– some coins that I would like to mine separately are in the software settings using a multi-protocol, that is, you can connect to the ether from awesome with default settings for the main ether only on the port where all the ethash forks sit, and you cannot say for sure what will be mined from them at the moment. And you, accordingly, want ether if it is profitable now.
Let’s take an example just electroneum.

Go to the Pools tab in the settings.
Create a new pool
We fill in the pool settings, we take them from the ETN pool on the pulhub:

ETNhub.jpg

If you need another coin, similarly go to the settings for the coin pool on the pulhub, create another pool. Then – go to the Pool Group tab right there in the pools, and make a group from these pools, if there are several coins.
Now, go to the Profit Switching tab in the options, and add our pool or group to the switching of profitability.

ETNhub2.jpg

Well, it all starts to work.
It is worth paying attention to one detail – now, in the Online Services tabs, general data on the profitability of algorithms from a multi-pool will be displayed, and your individual coin, which you just configured, in the coins tab.
